The time of UF civilization began tightly connected with development of EMD. As it was known, EMD started to expand its military power not just in Solar system but also through system Goe where Ords had their colonies behind in development. Ords were EMD’s old enemies so as EMD conquered their territory it wasn’t over yet. EMD continued with expansion through several more systems so it became one of dominant forces at that time. As EMD’s philosophy was built on military rules and their whole past and future was focused on combats, lots of people became indifferent towards its aims. When they slaughtered Ords in colonies, most of them felt guiltiness and started to stand against the meaningless of universal chaos. They wanted to change and improve their relations with other species but based on mutual respect towards different life forms and their culture. They wanted to be a voice of common sense, not savages with weapons. Because of these attitudes, the
first mutiny started on planet New Terra in system Goe which was the centre of all colonies. From that moment a wave of uncontrolled mutinies started to rapidly rise all over the system and after few months EMD, not expecting this revolution, had new serious problems. In year 2080, the leader of the rebels, Jonathan Hakes, decided to establish new organization called United Union Force that was based upon some basic rules: to only fight for freedom and to depose EMD’s might and to finally bring peace to all human beings.
Rebels attacked EMD’s army and gave them few options: either to join them to fight for noble cause or just to flee away from system Goe. Majority stayed with them and few went back to Earth and informed EMD’s Chief Commander about the
crisis in system Goe. So UF got their target area without any losses and took over whole EMD’s technology and equipment for they knew what to expect next. High command of EMD has sent six divisions to put down mutinies and to capture all those that initiated others. UF lost many brave soldiers but still gained victory. They knew that it was just the beginning of long-term defensive war against the invasion of EMD. UF members were rapidly working on fortification of their new locations while EMD was sending another fleet of battleships. They were outnumbered and it was definitely obvious that UF’s members would lose all. UF’s members were praying for miracle and kind of got it. There were several reports about unknown energy creatures that constantly were appearing and disappearing in system Goe. Lots of them believed it was some kind of odd phenomena because mostly they didn’t know that much about systems’ anomalies. When the fleet of EMDs battleships burst in system Goe they suddenly disappeared in a flash before the eyes of members of UF. They couldn’t explain what happened neither who were those energy creatures that erased the entire sinister fleet that was treating them. EMD got reports about this strange incident and because of great losses they stopped with attacks for a while, at least until they could recuperate. Meanwhile, UF tried to enforce their troops in order to attack Earth and to destroy EMD’s power once and for all. They’ve been trying through years but without any luck. Chief Commander of EMD, Thomas Warden, seized all rebels that were contacting other rebels in system Goe and so UF entirely lost all connections with Earth during the year 2100. Now UF wanted to re-establish their communication with Earth and to recuperate after lost battles but EMD decided to take advantage of their situation and continued to weaken their lines. UF felt great losses and thought that they wouldn’t hold much more their positions. But fortunately someone else went astray in system Goe. It was the species of Makkinists, a race of robots. In order to get such a
powerful ally, UF gave them mines in exchange. Makkinists were grateful and made pact with UF in year 2105. They agreed to help them against EMD. During the first year of their alliance there were lots of disagreements over crucial differences concerning respect towards the freedom of life and Makkinists broke their pact and switched sides. As EMD promised to give all necessary medical knowledge and technological materials, Makkinists couldn’t refuse such an offer. UF was now facing new problems and, to bring restlessness into EMD, they hired group of mercenaries to infiltrate EMD so they could find out their plans and strategically important locations they would attack. Mercenaries also had another role: to remove all commanding officers that were in charge of those operations and UF succeeded in that plan. It brought many conflicts between officers and approval of sympathizers that started to work as spies for UF. Now they were well prepared and never taken by surprise.
As they once were part of EMD’s system, they met Ords who invaded Earth and killed almost 4 million people. Ords didn’t show for a long period of time and both EMD and UF were glad because of it. But soon they heard rumours from patrols that Ords were approaching their system in order to return colonies from system Goe that were originally in their hands. EMD contacted them and promised that they could get their colonies if they destroy UF. That was just a lie that was covering EMD’s true intentions but they knew Ords wouldn’t reject such an offer. Spies contacted UF and notified them about these secret dealings with Ords. They knew that Ords didn’t approve a peaceful way of communication and that their only language was combined with words of war. Ords were pleased to get such an irritating enemy and wanted to demonstrate that there was no place for peace in the entire universe. Ords planned to destroy them first and then to break EMD’s might that was spreading over their past losses. Now, in the dawn of total war, everybody were preparing themselves for the battle of all ages. In that period UF’s members noticed again that those energy creatures returned into their system. They made first contact with them and those creatures are like guardians of time and they rule the entire process between species. They were assigned with this from the beginning of their existence and nobody knew who they actually were or what their intention was. They were Yah-An-Ras and nobody knew what the exact number of them was. They were protecting system Goe for unknown reason and UF made agreement with them. Nobody knew what it was all about. But UF continued to fight for their principles and unfortunately were in many cases forced to defend them by means of war. They strongly believed that time of peace would soon come and times of wars forever perish.
