I would have liked STALKER without all those freaky monsters in it.
Bottom line I would have just liked to play against those other STALKERS or whatever other baddies that could be in the game.
Now its a no go for me.

that World in Conflict looks pretty impressive, but... HOW did i not hear of it before?!?! i just wonder what the actual game play is like... and what kind of uber-computer is required to run it!
I would have liked STALKER without all those freaky monsters in it. kind of makes you wonder... why are mutants always ugly? ![]() |

Hehe, well without mutants then.
Why do there have to be mutants in the game when they could have done so much more with a setting like that.

i like mutants.. but i am one, so thats a given i guess
![]() STALKER actually will run on very old computers, as there is a DX8 mode you can use with aging systems... it wont look as nice, but you can still play and btw, i loaded it up on my P4 3.2 1gb RAM GF7800 machine and it ran like silk in DX9 mode at 1024 resolution, with all the settings at "high" except anti-alias (which was turn off) it actually runs VERY well as far as the gfx engine is concerned, extremely optimized and solid coding there exact release date is 20th for USA, 23rd for Europe - as in .. NEXT WEEK BABY! ![]() Edited by space captain - 15 Mar 2007 at 03:12 |

Since we are talking about other games, CofC 3, will be worldwide release at 28th of March
Until SF2 "sees" the light, it's a good choice.
As for the "World in Conflict" i don't know anything about it. I will have to look for it.

I have just bought Half-Life 2 and I was expecting something less lenier. Is there a sandbox mod or just the storyline? I do like the graphics but I am spoiled to Farcry where you actualy see the bullet holes and the cuts on the bodies. Half-Life 2 IMO is like a shooting Obilivion without the freedom.
Does Half-Life 2 have any freedom of play?

We're just gonna have to be a bit more patient before it gets released but think about the extra time they have now to make it even better.
I wonder if there will be new things added now that they have those extra months?!
